On the other side: the historic apartments in the harbour buildings and old town, and the regular residential districts in Goldach, Rorschacherberg, and Tübach, newer developments with regular tenant turnover. The Lake Constance water has hardness level 1–2, very soft water, yet deposits build up on fittings and glass surfaces over the years.

In all residential districts the same guarantee applies: free re-clean until handover is passed. Since 2025 we have never had to invoke it.
