Since the merger with Turgi, Baden is the largest town in the canton — around 23,500 inhabitants, three very different cityscapes. Spa district, station area, hilltop old town — each one places different demands on window cleaning.
The station quarter is dominated by high-rises with glass façades — Trianon, office towers, glass balconies. Here we need a boom lift or rope access. The spa district is the opposite: old hotels, historic muntin windows, wooden frames — material- and heritage-appropriate. The hilltop old town has townhouses with wooden shutters and glass surfaces facing the Limmat.
