Since the merger with Turgi, Baden is the largest town in the canton, around 23,500 inhabitants, three very different cityscapes. Spa district, station area, hilltop old town, each one places different demands on window cleaning.
The station quarter is dominated by high-rises with glass façades, Trianon, office towers, glass balconies. Here we need a boom lift or rope access. The spa district is the opposite: old hotels, historic muntin windows, wooden frames , material- and heritage-appropriate. The hilltop old town has townhouses with wooden shutters and glass surfaces facing the Limmat.
