Outdoor stairs collect everything: road salt in winter, pollen in spring, soil from shoes all year. Step by step the stone darkens.
Ground-floor façades, plinth areas, porches: airborne soot, pollen, cobwebs in corners. What looks different from move-in day — usually dirt, not age.
Over the years rain washes out the joint sand and weeds grow through. High pressure exposes it — the re-jointing itself is construction work, someone else does that.
Large areas get the rotating attachment. Stairs we do step by step by hand — no attachment reaches there. Façade low down with reduced pressure, because plaster is sensitive.

On stairs the surface cleaner doesn't fit. There we work manually with a targeted jet. Takes longer, but every edge gets clean.
Plinth, ground-floor walls, porches: targeted jet at reduced pressure. Plaster must not chip — so we test first on an inconspicuous spot.
Stone by stone. Step by step. Clean again.
Concrete takes a different pressure than natural stone. Sandstone different from granite. When in doubt, test on a corner first, then the whole surface.
Kärcher with the right bar pressure and nozzle. Too much pressure erodes — that wouldn't be cleaning any more, that would be damage.
Large surfaces get the rotating attachment. Stairs, edges and corners we go over by hand with a spot jet — otherwise dirt rings remain.
Each step: top, front, edge. Road-salt residue sits exactly where the shoe lands. More work — but that's the job.
Water plus dissolved dirt has to go — not into joints, not under door thresholds, not onto the neighbour's property. We rinse off in a controlled way.
What stays we tell you on site. No sugar-coating. If jointing clearly needs redoing — we say so, but we don't do it ourselves.
